Chapter6

Jihoon had been working at Jeon Corporation for a long time now, diligently saving money for a new home for himself and Tae. Finally, the day had arrived. He had arranged for Tae to come to his office so they could go see the new house together.

"Tae, I need you to come to my office today," Jihoon had told his brother over breakfast. "From there, we'll go see our new home."

Tae's eyes lit up with excitement. "Really, hyung? I can't wait!"

Jihoon nodded, but he felt a bit worried. "I don't want you to come alone, though. I asked Jimin, but he has some work and won't be able to pick you up."

Tae pouted but then smiled confidently. "Hyung, I can come alone. I'm a big boy now. It's just a trip to your office."

After some hesitation, Jihoon agreed. "Okay, but be careful. And call me if you need anything."

At college, Tae could barely contain his excitement. Jimin noticed his best friend's glowing happiness and grinned. "You're really excited about the new house, huh?"

Tae nodded eagerly. "Yes, Jimin! Hyung worked so hard for this. I can't wait to see it."

Jimin dropped Tae at the bus stop and apologized for not being able to take him directly to Jihoon's office. "I'm sorry, Tae. I wish I could drop you off, but I have to get to my dance practice."

Tae smiled and hugged Jimin. "It's okay, Jiminie. Thank you for dropping me here. I'll be fine."

Tae's journey from the bus stop to Jihoon's office was smooth. He enjoyed the ride, looking out the window and thinking about their new home. He felt a mixture of excitement and gratitude for everything Jihoon had done for him.

When he arrived at Jeon Corporation, he walked into the impressive building with wide eyes. He approached the receptionist, feeling a bit nervous but determined. "Excuse me, I'm here to see my brother, Jihoon. He's Mr. Jeon Jungkook's PA."

The receptionist smiled kindly. "Of course. Please take the elevator to the top floor and wait in the reception area. I'll let Mr. Jihoon know you're here."

Tae nodded and followed the directions, his heart pounding with anticipation. As he waited, he marveled at the grandeur of the office, feeling a sense of pride for his brother's achievements. He couldn't wait to see Jihoon and finally visit their new home together.

---

Meanwhile, Jihoon was in his office, anxiously glancing at the clock. He knew Tae would be arriving soon and hoped everything was going smoothly. When he received the call from the receptionist, he sighed in relief.

"Your brother is here, Mr. Jihoon," she informed him.

"Thank you. I'll be right there," Jihoon replied, quickly gathering his things and heading to the reception area.

As soon as he saw Tae, his heart swelled with affection. "Tae baby, you made it!" he exclaimed, pulling him into a tight hug.

Tae hugged him back, beaming. "Yes, hyung! I'm here. I can't wait to see our new home."

Jihoon's joy at seeing his brother was palpable, but it was momentarily interrupted by an urgent call from Jungkook.

"Jihoon, I need you to come back to the office," Jungkook's voice crackled through the phone. "I'm missing an important file, and I can't find it anywhere."

Jihoon's face fell as he looked at Tae. "Oh no, Tae, I'm really sorry. Jungkook needs me to handle something quickly. Can you sit here for a little while? I'll be right back."

Tae, understanding the urgency, nodded reassuringly. "It's okay, hyung. I'll just wait here. Go ahead and take care of it."

Jihoon gave Tae a grateful smile before hurrying back to the office. "I'll be as quick as I can. Don't wander off."

Tae watched Jihoon leave, his excitement for the new house momentarily overshadowed by the unexpected delay. He took a seat in the reception area, looking around at the luxurious surroundings with a mix of awe and nervousness. The sleek, modern design of the office contrasted sharply with the more modest environment he was used to.

As he waited, Tae pulled out his phone to pass the time, scrolling through some pictures of the new house that Jihoon had shown him earlier. The anticipation of moving into their new home filled him with warmth and hope. He knew it would be a fresh start, a chance for them to build a life of their own, away from the shadows of their past.

After a few minutes, Tae's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the receptionist's voice. "Mr. Jihoon will be with you shortly. Can I get you anything while you wait?"

Tae shook his head with a smile. "No, thank you. I'm fine."

He continued to wait patiently, glancing occasionally at the door, hoping Jihoon would return soon. Despite the small setback, Tae remained excited and optimistic about the day ahead. He was determined not to let anything dampen his spirits as he looked forward to seeing their new home with his brother.

Jungguk was running late for the office. He had been out handling some delicate mafia business with Jk that morning, and the time had slipped away faster than he'd anticipated. With a final glance at his watch, he quickened his pace, determined to make up for lost time.

As he was driving back to the office, something caught his eye—a small, injured Pomeranian lying by the side of the road. The tiny dog was whimpering softly, its fur matted and dirty. Jungguk's heart ached at the sight.

He pulled over immediately, carefully scooping up the fragile creature and placing it gently in his car. With a sense of urgency, he drove to the nearest veterinary clinic. The vet examined the dog, noting that it was weak but otherwise healthy. It had likely been without food for a while and was in need of some care and nourishment.

After the vet reassured him that the dog would recover with proper care, Jungguk took the Pomeranian back to the office. He couldn't bear the thought of leaving the little creature alone, so he decided to bring it with him.

When he arrived at Jeon Corporation, the office was quieter than usual. Jk had called earlier to let him know he wouldn't be coming in for the rest of the day, preferring to head home. Jungguk nodded to the receptionist as he entered, carrying the small dog wrapped in a cozy blanket.

He made his way to his office, setting the dog down on a plush sofa. The Pomeranian looked up at him with tired eyes, snuggling into the blanket. Jungguk set up a small bowl of water and some food, hoping the little one would feel more comfortable soon.

With the dog settled, Jungguk turned to his desk and began tackling the work that had accumulated during his absence. Despite the long day, he felt a sense of satisfaction in helping the small creature. It was a rare moment of softness for the usually stern and focused Jungguk.

As he worked, the occasional rustling from the sofa reminded him of the Pomeranian. Every now and then, he glanced over to check on the dog, finding it curled up and slowly regaining its strength. Jungguk found a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as he saw the tiny creature finding comfort in his office.

The office was a stark contrast to the chaotic world of mafia dealings, and for a moment, Jungguk enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. He knew that this was a fleeting respite from the intense demands of his job and the life he led. The presence of the little dog was a gentle reminder of the kindness that still existed amidst the turmoil.

Jungguk continued working, feeling a renewed sense of calm and purpose. He hoped that by the end of the day, the Pomeranian would be well enough to go home with him. For now, he focused on his tasks, his thoughts occasionally drifting back to the small dog and the quiet comfort it brought.

Tae sat in the reception area of Jeon Corporation, eagerly awaiting his brother Jihoon. His anticipation for the new home was palpable, but the delay gave him a chance to pass the time with his usual routine. As he worked on his college assignments, a soft tickling sensation at his legs drew his attention. Looking down, he saw a tiny Pomeranian dog gazing up at him with curious eyes.

A soft giggle escaped Tae's lips as he reached down to pick up the little dog. He cradled it gently, speaking in the baby voice he used when he was around things he found cute. "Hello, little baby doggie! Aren't you just the cutest thing?"

The Pomeranian, clearly enjoying the attention, wagged its tail and nuzzled into Tae's arms. Tae's heart melted at the sight, and he continued to talk to the dog in the same sweet, soothing tone. After a few minutes, he set the dog down on the floor, thinking it might want to explore.

To his dismay, the Pomeranian immediately scampered away, heading toward the lobby. Tae, realizing the dog might get lost or hurt in the big office, hurried after it. He chased the little creature, his heart pounding with worry. "Baby dog, come back! Don't run away!" he called out, his voice tinged with concern.

Unbeknownst to Tae, Jungguk had noticed the absence of the Pomeranian. Having returned to his office after a brief break, he was initially frustrated to find the dog missing. He started searching the office, growing increasingly anxious. Hearing the sounds of footsteps and a soft, melodious voice in the lobby, Jungguk followed the noise, hoping to find the missing pet.

When he reached the lobby, the sight before him was unexpected. Tae was crouched beside a large plant, holding out an invisible treat, his voice dripping with desperation and affection. "Baby dog, come out, please! You'll get hurt if you stay in there!" Tae's words were filled with a mix of concern and sweetness, a stark contrast to the usual corporate atmosphere.

Jungguk's initial reaction was irritation. He was not accustomed to unauthorized people roaming the office, especially when it disrupted his work. But as he listened to the soft, gentle voice, something within him shifted. The melody of Tae's voice, combined with the genuine worry for the dog's safety, began to calm Jungguk's frustration.

Unable to contain his curiosity, Jungguk approached Tae. "Hey," he said, his tone a mix of confusion and annoyance, "what are you doing here? And where's the dog?"

Tae, absorbed in his mission to coax the dog out, barely registered Jungguk's presence. He continued to call out to the Pomeranian, trying to coax it with soft, baby-like words. "Come on, baby dog, don't hide. You might get hurt if you stay there."

Jungguk's eyes softened as he watched Tae, who had his back turned towards him. The scene was unexpectedly captivating. The gentleness in Tae's voice, the way he treated the Pomeranian with such care, struck a chord deep within Jungguk. He had never seen anyone so beautifully innocent and kind, and the sight was mesmerizing.

Just as Jungguk was about to say something, Jihoon arrived, looking around in search of his brother.

who was not where he had left him. He saw Jungguk and Tae near a large plant. Tae was crouching while Jungguk stood a little further back.

Jihoon acknowledged Jungguk with a nod. "Tae baby, what are you doing here?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Tae pouted and looked up at his brother. "Hyungiee, see? Baby doggie is hiding behind the tree. He will get hurt if he stays there any longer. He's not coming out."

Jihoon smiled softly at his brother's concern. "Baby, let me see."

Tae stood up and stepped aside, giving Jihoon access to the plant. Jihoon carefully reached in and coaxed the little Pomeranian out from behind the plant. The dog, now in Jihoon's arms, seemed much calmer.

Tae's face lit up with a wide smile as he saw the dog safe. He gently took the dog from Jihoon, caressing its fur lovingly. "Thank you, hyungie ," Tae said, his voice filled with gratitude and relief.

Jungguk watched the scene unfold, his eyes never leaving Tae. The genuine affection and innocence Tae displayed struck a deep chord within him. The way Tae's face brightened with joy at seeing the dog safe made Jungguk's heart race. He was mesmerized by the purity of Tae's emotions, feeling an unfamiliar yet intense longing to protect and cherish him.

Jihoon asked, "Tae baby, whose dog is this? I've never seen him before."

This time, Jungguk decided to present himself. "It's my dog."

Tae turned and saw Jungguk. Jungguk was just mesmerized by Tae's beauty. He had never seen someone this beautiful and innocent before. Tae, feeling intimidated by Jungguk's presence, got a little closer to his brother.

Jungguk cleared his throat and explained, "I found him injured on the road this morning and took him to the vet. He was a bit weak from not eating for a while. I brought him to my office, but somehow he managed to get out. I'm sorry if he caused any trouble."

Tae's eyes widened slightly as he listened. "Oh, poor baby doggie," he said softly, looking at the dog with even more concern.

Jungguk's heart melted at Tae's gentle voice. "Thank you for taking care of him," Tae added, his eyes meeting Jungguk's for a brief moment before looking down shyly.

Jihoon smiled at his brother's kind nature. "It's alright, Tae. I'm sure Jungguk hyung is grateful for your help."

Jungguk nodded, trying to keep his composure. "Yes, very grateful," he said, his eyes lingering on Tae. "Thank you for your kindness."

Tae blushed slightly, still holding the dog close. Jihoon, noticing the subtle exchange, decided to break the silence. "Alright, Tae. Let's get going. We have a new home to see, remember?"

Tae nodded eagerly, but before they left, he turned to Jungguk. "Take good care of baby doggie," he said earnestly.

Jungguk smiled, his eyes softening. "I will. Thank you, Tae."

As Jihoon and Tae walked away, Jungguk couldn't help but watch them, especially Tae. The brief encounter left a lasting impression on him, igniting a spark of protectiveness and longing he had never felt before.

Jungguk returned to his office, the little dog cradled gently in his arms. He set the dog down on the couch and sank into his chair, but his mind was elsewhere. It was fixed on the ethereal beauty, the innocent face, and the soft voice of the boy he had just met—Taehyung.

Jungguk couldn't shake the feeling that had taken hold of him the moment he laid eyes on Tae. It was as if something had awakened deep within him, something dark and primal. He had always been obsessive and possessive by nature, traits that had served him well in the ruthless world of business and the mafia. But this feeling was different. It was more intense, more consuming. It was as if Tae had flipped a switch inside him, igniting an all-consuming need to possess him, to make him his.

He leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes as he replayed the encounter in his mind. The way Tae had cradled the dog, the concern in his eyes, the gentle touch—everything about him screamed innocence and purity. And that innocence was something Jungguk found irresistible. He wanted to protect it, to own it. The thought of anyone else being close to Tae, of anyone else seeing that beautiful smile, made his blood boil.

Jungguk's thoughts were interrupted by a knock on his door. It was one of his men, bringing a stack of reports. He dismissed the man quickly, eager to return to his thoughts of Tae. As soon as he was alone again, he reached for his phone and made a call.

"I need everything you can find on Kim Taehyung," he said, his voice cold and authoritative. "I want to know where he lives, who his family is, who his friends are. Everything. And I want it fast."

He hung up the phone, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over him. He would know everything about Tae soon enough. He would know how to win him over, how to make him his. And he would do whatever it took to ensure that Tae was his and his alone.

Jungguk's obsession grew with each passing minute. He could hardly focus on his work, his mind constantly drifting back to Tae. He imagined what it would be like to hold him, to kiss him, to see him smile just for him. He wanted to see Tae's eyes light up with happiness, wanted to be the reason behind that happiness. And he wanted to ensure that no one else could ever take that place.

His possessiveness was something he had learned to control in the business world, but with Tae, it was different. He didn't want to control it. He wanted to let it consume him, to let it drive him to do whatever was necessary to make Tae his. He knew that his brothers would understand. They were just as obsessive and possessive as he was. And once they met Tae, he was sure they would be just as taken with him as he was.

Jungguk smiled to himself, a dark, determined smile. He would have Tae, no matter what it took. And once he did, he would never let him go. Tae would be his, and he would protect him, cherish him, and love him like no one else could. He would make sure of it.
